Growing up, I was labeled a dropout risk due to my grades and test scores, but my brother introduced me to the Boys & Girls Club which changed my life. With the help of the Boys & Girls Club, I was able to become a leader and support other young members on their journeys. I was able to graduate on time, attend college, and defy the odds. It’s a true full-circle moment for me, now serving as the Club Director. The Boys & Girls Club provides invaluable support, opportunities, and growth for young people, and I am grateful to have grown up in this incredible community.
