AdventHealth and the US Navy joined forces to bring exciting community opportunities to Daytona Beach during Navy Week. Among all cities in Florida, the US Navy chose Daytona Beach for its Navy Week, which took place from Feb. 12-18, 2024. Navy Weeks serve as a platform for Sailors to enlighten Americans about the Navy’s latest capabilities, emphasizing the importance of a robust Navy in safeguarding the American way of life. Beyond showcasing their skills, Navy Week enabled the Sailors to engage with and give back to the communities that support them.

During Navy Week, soldiers visited our Clubs, offering Boys & Girls Club members an opportunity to engage in activities that made the week one to remember. We extend a special thanks to Debi McNabb and her amazing team at AdventHealth for orchestrating this fantastic opportunity for our youth. Our members, along with the Boys & Girls Club staff, had an amazing time interacting with the dedicated sailors from the Navy, fostering a memorable and impactful experience for all involved.
