When I first began working at the new Club, in my new role. I began giving light duty assignments to our Jr. Staff. She at first didn’t know how to react, but when I asked if she was a paid employee, she realized what I was asking her to do was actually in her job description and part of her job. I explained you get out of your role in this mission that you put into it. By the end of the summer, she was taking the initiative to gather supplies and help where she could. —Shawn
